Since 2020 we have have seen a phenomenal business growth for us with over 10x in number of customers which includes brands such as TopDrill, Northern Star, Seismic Drilling and Sandfire.

CorePlan is the world's only digital operations platform for mining. We are on a mission to becoming a unicorn.

Our team is small but we are gearing for growth to double our team size so we can scale across Mining here in Australia and beyond.

What is the role?

It's simple. You will be leading force in market penetration and customer acquisition that will see you engaging with SMB and SME Mining & Exploration companies across Australia.

Our target market is defined and we know exactly who our customers are and what they want. This role will see you conducting outreach to SMEs along side our superstar in the drilling space, conducting demos and closing deals.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead Coordination: This includes email correspondence and calendar coordinating along with owning the first conversation and touch point with our prospects.

  • Build Relationships: Connect, engage and nurture decision makers and influencers in SME and SMB accounts. You will be the face of the brand in these markets.

  • Research: Understand customer problems on a high level with relevant information for each prospect and company

  • Lead Qualification: Demo CorePlan’s technology stack, ask strong discovery questions, highlight pains for customers that they were not aware even existed

  • Educate: Clearly articulate the unique CorePlan value proposition in pitches and handle objections through education before they arise.

  • Seek opportunities: collaborate with marketing for education and awareness campaigns - including events, webinars, trade shows, media.

  • Events: Travel locally (for now) with the team for events to represent CorePlan.

  • Content: Work closely with marketing to develop content to educate the buyer in their decision making process.

  • Master the CRM: we use Hubspot, which is the greatest CRM ever built and we want you to know it back to front. This and a host of tech we use to ensure the best experience for you and the customer.

We'd be perfect for each other if you:

  • Have passion for all things tech and a strong grasp of technology!

  • Have demonstrable cold call, customer management and sales experience. (2 to 3 years is ideal but we are flexible)

  • Understand the need to think different and being resilient is part of your week, and are happy to get stuck in.

  • Are a critical thinker, and have the ability to be patient with people.

  • Have a keen interest in sales and/or marketing with an appreciation for understanding people.

  • Are empathetic, caring and always thinking from the customer's point of view.
